Kerr Engineering were recently engaged to manufacture a series of Parallel Reels for a major mine expansion project in Queensland.
Scope of work:
- Machining of the centre hubs and associated components
- Fabrication and assembly series of reels and mounting frames
- Complete the coating application to the mandated specification
- Ensure compliance with all applicable AS/NZS, ISO and client specific standards
- Supply comprehensive MDR’s covering materials, manufacturing and coating application
The outcome:
The completed reels were delivered to site on budget and ahead of their required installation time.
